美国陆军增购第六批次Block II型“支奴干”直升机

PROCUREMENT
The US Army has so far taken receipt of six Block II-version Chinooks US Army
The US Army has placed a Lot 6 production contract for six more Boeing CH-47F Block II Chinooks, taking its total orders for the enhanced model to 24 examples.
Valued at $324 million, the latest award was announced by the rotorcraft manufacturer on 15 April.
“Consistent production awards reflect the army’s confidence in the CH-47F Block II as a critical capability for handling logistics in challenging environments across different domains and in varying operations,” says Heather McBryan, Boeing Defense & Space’s vice-president and programme manager, cargo programmes.
Six of the Block II rotorcraft have already been delivered to the US Army, in support of pre-deployment activities.
“The army is preparing to field the first unit equipped no later than mid-2028, after delivery of the Lot 3 Block II aircraft,” Boeing says.
The Chinook’s latest production standard introduces improvements including an increased maximum take-off weight and cargo-lift capacity, plus extended-range performance.
